Chilkur Balaji Temple has a special relationship with Dalai Lama because he was one of the very few Religious leaders who congratulated the Archaka when he lifted a Dalit for temple darshan last year
Devotees and Archakas worshipped today to pray for the quick recovery of His Holiness the Dalai Lama, who is undergoing treatment for a lung infection in Delhi. Thousands of people performed one additional pradakshina for his speedy recovery.
The prayer gathering consisted of Chief priests Dr M V Soundararajan and C S Gopalakrishna who urged for calm and urged Tibetans not to be alarmed at the news of His Holiness the Dalai Lama’s treatment.
“His Holiness the Dalai Lama is the irreplaceable spiritual leader and the jewel of refuge for the entire Tibetan people.”
“We want the Chinese not to interfere in the selection of the Successor for HH Dalai Lama..” said Dr Soundararajan.
Chilkur Balaji Temple has a special relationship with Dalai Lama because he was one of the very few Religious leaders who congratulated the Archaka when he lifted a Dalit for temple darshan last year as a reenactment of 2700-year-old ritual ….munivahana utsavam at Jiyaguda…
After the prayers, Mr.Rangarajan Chilkur personally enquired about the health of His Holiness Sri Dalai Lama. He spoke to Mr.Tseten Dalai Lama and informed him about the special prayer they performed for his holiness’s recovery.
Mr Tseten Dalai Lama told Mr Rangarajan that there is great news, His Holiness is more or less completely recovered. He has, of course, to continue the antibiotics medication for one week. He should be discharged tomorrow morning. Also, told that this morning he was in a very good mood. Even walking around his small room and appetite is very good.
